The Borough of Lansdowne is located in the southeastern section of Delaware County. It is 1.2 square miles in size with a population of 11,044, according to the 2000 census. It was settled in the early 1700s and named after the English estate of Lord Lansdowne. Its charm, architecture, people, services, culture and history of civic commitment combine to provide the warmth that can only be found in a small town setting.
